SINGLE,
BUT NOT FOR LONG
I'm single right now, but not for long,
The longer I wait, the more I become strong,
As I wait my focus is not on my spouse,
Instead I focus on building my House,
My House is the inner man, my spirit and soul,
That part of me I want to be made whole,
So I wait on the Lord for my spouse to be,
As I know my spouse patiently awaits me,
Being single is a gift I really adore,
As a single I realize that I can always do more,
More for the Lord as He guides and directs me,
This is a priviledge I will loose when I marry,
I'm not saying to be married is wrong,
Because I know I won't be single for long,
But in my time that I'm single and free,
I can do more as he guides and directs me,
So my advice to you as you have single time left,
To do all God has for you when the timing is best.

IT'S
MY SINGLE LIFE, NOT YOURS
When I was in the world, being alone was never a topic,
Now that I've crossed over, my aloneness is the Headline
gossip,
"When are you going to find someone?",
"What's taking so long?",
These are the questions that persist on and on,
I reply, "I'm waiting on the Lord, He knows what's
best for me",
Some things I don't know but he surely does see,
I wonder why people are so interested in my life,
When, Who, Where, will I find my wife,
The concern is not theirs, but its mine,
It's me and my wife who will be sharing the rest of
time,
If the concerns are sincere, heartfelt, and meant,
I don't mind people inquiring on how my time will be
spent,
Otherwise don't be worried about me being alone,
Instead I urge others to focus on the relationship of
their own.

WORSHIP, PRAY, and FAST
When I praise
My will is surrendered
My mind is focused
My body is yielded
Basking in His present Glory,
When I worship
My entirety is humbled
My desires are His
My voice is lifted
Meditating on my Saviour's Story,
When I pray
I praise Him first
I Ask for forgiveness next
I Make my request last
Feeling His presence so Devine,
When I fast
I praise
I worship
I pray
Thanking Him for making His plan Mine.

If
I Humble Myself
If
I humble myself
I can get more done,
Not always focused
On me being the one,
The first step to being meek
and not being proud,
Is to concern myself with the betterment of the crowd,
When my suit of pride is taking off
And my haughtiness is completely lost,
The more I see people for who they are
Instead of standing from afar,
God despises the proud and exalts the humble
admittingly so this is a area I often stumble,
But I place my faith in God's awesome grace
that he will keep me with a meek face
Pride is not bad its just to what degree
You look at others and what you see
One day I may be rich the next poor,
One day grounded and the next soar,
So when I realized there is no room for pride,
Its there in God's grace I continue to abide!
