Guidelines
for Submission of Written Works
1. We
are looking for Christian articles, poems, inspirational
stories, devotionals, and short Bible studies. We are interested
in many topics including, but not limited to, marriage,
parenting, singles' issues, teen issues, physical and emotional
health, fundamental Bible principles, and general areas of
encouragement to Christians. Presently, we are especially
interested in articles that deal with singles' issues, as we are
lacking in coverage of this area.
2. We
welcome written material from men,
women, and youth.
3.
Writers retain copyright to all work submitted.
4. All
material must be sound in Biblical teaching and will be reviewed
by our staff to determine scriptural accuracy. Material that is
not scripturally sound will not be accepted.
5. All
material submitted must be either original (not published in any
other source) or permission of writer and publisher (if
applicable) must be granted prior to submission.
6.
Please proofread articles before mailing them in. We are unable
to accept work that needs extensive editing.
7. Feel
free to submit a short paragraph about yourself and a
photograph.
8.
We prefer to receive material via e-mail rather than
snail mail. We are able to respond faster to material that
we receive via e-mail. Please copy your article into the body of
your e-mail. Include your name, phone number(s) where you can be
contacted, and address (including e-mail if you have one).
Please do not send
work in the form of e-mail attachments. We are unable to open
them due to potential for viruses.
9.
We are a free magazine. We are unable to pay stipends for
written works at this time.
10. Due
to the high volume of mail we receive, at times we are
back-logged 4 months or more. Please be patient with us in
responding to you.
