Dear Christian Sisters,
Precious Christian sisters, you are rare and valuable gems.
Proverbs 31:10 "A wife of noble character who can find? She
is worth far more than rubies". You are even worthy of
praise. Proverbs 31:30 "Charm is deceptive, and beauty is
fleeting; but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised".
I value your inner beauty that comes from a gentle and quiet
Spirit. Peter 3:4 "It (your beauty) should be that of your
inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet
spirit, which is of great worth in God's sight. I feel like
God has shown me a glimpse of how much He values all of
you. I have a very protective and caring brotherly love for
my sisters in Christ.
I hope and pray that you care
for and treat yourselves as precious gems of great worth.
The world does not and cannot treat you as you deserve, for
they do not understand your value. I am afraid for those of
you that spend long hours in the workplace. Please don't
ever try to find your value in the workplace and don't be
afraid to put down the demands of the corporate world.
It is man's curse to toil there and some of you have taken
on our curse. I pray that you would leave any job that wears
you down or takes you away from your more important work.
You have such an important role in building up your
husbands. We need you much more than we let on. Without
your support, we often become weak and insecure. You have an
extremely important role in bringing up God-fearing
children. I know that this work is difficult and draining
and I pray that the blessings would outweigh the
difficulties. You have special built-in skills to build
family relationships and unity and you set a tone of peace
for your family. Those relational skills you have are very
much needed today. They are part of what makes you so
valuable and precious.
Please continue to nurture the
qualities of purity, reverence, gentleness, and even
submissiveness. I Peter 3:1,2 "Wives, in the same way be
submissive to your husbands so that, if any of them do not
believe the word, they may be won over without words by the
behavior of their wives, when they see the purity and
reverence of your lives". These are not what the corporate
world values in you but they are of great value to God and
to Christian families. You have the power to reach those
that cannot be reached in any other way than through these
values. I pray that you would find joy and peace in your
very important family role and that you would be protected
and treated special.
I know some of you are hurting, some of you are lonely, some
of you are tired, and some of you are all of the above. You
may be afraid to put yourself under the protection of any
man. My heart aches for you and Gods heart aches for you.
You must believe that you are precious and valuable if you
seek after God and have Christ in your heart. Please know
that your Christian brothers love you and are praying for
you. We value and honor you as our Christian sisters and we
notice the purity and reverence of your lives. Take your
refuge in The Rock of God. Psalms 94:22 "But the LORD has
become my fortress, and my God the rock in whom I take
refuge".
I pray that God would show you in many ways, regardless of
your
circumstances, how much he values and loves you. I pray
that you would see yourselves as precious and valued as God
sees you. I encourage you to use your strong godly
character to love and help those around you who can benefit
so much from what you have to offer. I want you to serve
your families and others out of an overflowing abundance of
Gods blessing of grace and love and joy.
I dream of seeing you all in heaven one day where, Rev. 21:4
"He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no
more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order
of things has passed away". You will get a crown there for
your devotion to God and your family.
With Love,
A Christian Brother
